Wanna be a metroblogger?

Be famous, get chics, make made money?

Well I can’t promise any of those, and I can guarantee the last two don’t happen :) But fame? Hey that’s never out of the realm of possibilities!

We’re looking for some new blood. I had a few of you on the hook, back when our new system was in the process of rolling out, and roped one (nod to Val). Time for more!

If you wanna write, and I mean write! 3x a week is our request, then leave a comment so I can get in touch with you.

There’s a lot going on and we need voices. Rockies fan? frequent home gamer? talk about it.

Frequent eater? tell us where the best things are. Aaron can’t do it all himself!

Come on! Fame awaits as a Denver Metroblogger! Onward and upward!!

I’m in Japan at the moment, so I won’t be able to jump on a comment the moment it’s made, but I’ll definitely we all over it! And when I get back, and am done traveling, I owe Denver some entries on where I’ve been eating. Hamburger Mary’s anyone?

I’d be interested in blogging- I’ll be moving to Denver in August, and so I could blog on my experiences moving there, and as a newcomer to the city.

I’d love to blog with you guys!

A few short days ago, I found you guys while searching for Denver area blogs to link to on a social network I’m helping to roll out at http://coloradoconnector.ning.com/. I’m a writer, so imagine my excitement in finding you need contributors to the blog.

You can learn more about me and my writing experience on The Colorado Connector website at http://coloradoconnector.ning.com/profile/WendyHoward. In summary, there are two main areas in which I would be a valuable contributor. The first area includes information about charities and giving in the community. Last year I helped start a nonprofit with a mission to facilitate collaboration between businesses and nonprofit. I’m currently integrating the mission of the organization into The Colorado Connector. The second area is with networking. I’ve been very involved with networking all over the metro area for the last four years. I’ve also been an event planner for networking and fundraising events. So, I can write about local social and business networking AND help to bring more readers to the blog, as well as help you find writers (I’m secretly already doing this). Other areas I’m passionate about are local arts, wining & dining and outdoor activities. We travel all over the state (with family far north, south & west), if you’re looking for an overall Colorado perspective as well. The banner on The Colorado Connector website is a picture I took of Longs Peak. Unfortunately Ning doesn’t convert graphics well, cause it’s a spectacular view!

    Thanks for your time!

    Wendy Howard

I’m interested as well. I’m relatively new to Denver, I’ve been here about 6 months. I actually came across this blog for the first time yesterday. As I’m unfamiliar with this blog and its content…I suppose "fresh blood" is a pretty accurate description. I look forward to hearing from you!
