My question is – when they are asked to perform at something like this – are they paid for their singing? If so, if I was Hick – I would be asking for a refund.

Hick’s not been impressing me much when he’s under pressure. Sure, he’s affable and has that nice guy charisma…

But this kinda stuff makes me go, "Whaa?". Come on Mayor…

What impressed me most was the Mayor’s utter loss of control of the situation. He said he got confused. Later when he spoke about the incident, he apparently fell back on social training that dictates " Don’t offend anyone ever". And of course, he ended up offending many people.
