Now that’s what I’m talking about. We used to have great thunderstorms in Phoenix. I remember sitting at my living room window when I was a kid, watching the massive amounts of lightning and hearing the thunder that would shake the room. These days, with all of the sprawl, we don’t get storms anymore. Hell, when it rains, it lasts 10 minutes and then moves on.
I can’t wait to be in a city that actually has thunderstorms again!! Nice post!

Gabe,
I’ll take my title and wear it proud. In fact, that’s my new reporter middle name. “This is Aaron ‘Nut’s & Awesome’ DeLay reporting…”

dude. thunderstorms are amazing. having lived 20 years in the rain-soaked pacific northwest, it’s nice to have a storm that blows in with some authority then goes away.

Heh. The first image I have in my head on reading that comment is a dark storm cloud with Cartman’s voice saying, “RESPECT MY AUTHORITAH!”
I’m such a geek.

That would necessitate the ghostbusters quote, “Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together – mass hysteria.”..:)
Aaron Delay, you’re nuts and awesome.
And I think that says Denver rather succinctly…
Nuts and Awesome.
