Hi there neighbors!

Well since I’ve been outed, All you get for a first post from me is this. What you were gonna get was elephants on the 16th street mall, sky writing, a troop of clowns, and a midget, but…

So, I’m the new kid around these parts; both to Denver and this here MetroBlog. My wife and I moved here in October of ’05 I won’t say where from for fear of retaliation :) But they’re not getting snow I can promise that.

I’m getting myself acquainted with things, planning all sorts of truly deep posts about things that will shake up the intertubes from here to… well from here to… at least Wash Park.

So stay tuned (oh and if I’ve done this wrong, it’s my first time using Moveable Type, don’t hate me)

If it helps, I was once a member of the hairclub for men. Now I’ve graduated to NAMBLA, though there is quite a bit of crossover membership.

there’s no better conversation killer in Denver than saying you’re from the east coast (NY) or the west coast (CA). it’s like going to france and saying you’re an American!

    welcome!

My favorite is to guess what state people are from if they say they’re from the midwest. Granted, I’ve only done this a few times but I’m currently batting better than 500.
