Zoom! Zoom!

So the Grand Prix is in town, which normally just means I avoid downtown, but this year I had some “press passes” and plenty of beer, so I figured I’d take a look. It was exactly as expected, I suppose.

There were cars.cars.jpg

people.jpgAnd people.

There was of course a race, I suppose.race.jpg

kitchen.jpgBut by far the most important thing we found at the Grand Prix was the decontextualized kitchen of yore.

There’s still some stuff going on tomorrow, for those of you who are so inclined. Me, I recommend going to Wash Park and watching the ducks. Just avoid the speeding bicyclists.

the race is typically a lot of fun if you can get out of the kitchen.
