When your nightlife consists of nothing but former Kerouac hangouts…
…it’s probably time to leave Denver. At least that’s what Dave told me right before he moved to L.A. I visited him this past weekend, and while Sunset Strip has its appeal, I have to say sleepy ole Denver is vastly preferrable. Where else could Team Pomosexual Agenda win bar trivia at Sobo 151 and then head over to Bender’s to sing goofy David Byrne songs? Metaphorically I mean. Denver is just relaxed enough to be cool, but connected enough to be where it’s at.
Hi. I’m new here.
We’re going to try another Tic-Tac-Toe event on Saturday, and all y’all are welcome.

We’ll have to agree to disagree on that one, dvd! Speaking as a Denver native now living in LA, I wish I’d moved here sooner. ;)
I moved to Denver 6 years ago pretty much kicking and screaming and making it clear it would only be a 3 year tour (long story, but MIL wanted us locally like my mom had just had for 3 years in NM)
I don’t see us staying here forever, but I can say we won’t be moving soon either. I love the mountains, the people, the area we live in (Parker) and in general everything (except when I’m laid off with jobs) – I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else but Denver.
I love Denver. Used to live in CA and FL. Denver is where I want to be for the rest of my life.
Welcome, dvd!
Forgive the thoroughly self-serving comment, but I want to invite Team Pomosexual to come and play our quiz: http://www.geekswhodrink.com
